300 Brewers

Dinged 300 a few weeks ago; made a push to do it before the last big patch, since after what happened to Velious tailoring recipes I was afraid the triv for KCs might be changing. I got EQ running on my laptop and gathered mushrooms for over a week while doing other things around the house. Ended up with over 5000 KCs, gave stacks to all my alts and friends, and have been selling the rest in the bazaar. (They've been going fairly steadily on EMarr at 300pp per stack, which is a pretty good return.)

With all us 300 brewers, why don't we ever see a bar fight?

What, are you claiming just because we're brewers, that we're also drunkards? I've got Alcohol Tolerance 200, of course!

Gads. I just like to make 200 brewing. Got a cheap way of doing it all you 300 brewers?

Brewing is perhaps the cheapest tradeskill to master; that's partly why I did it first, since I was still fairly low level and hence poor. My path was:

• Heady Kiola to 46
• Red Porter to 68
• Beer-based Batter to 95 (used it to make stat food from Abysmal Sea crab/tuna)
• Gnomish Spirits to 102 (hunted a bit for spider legs)
• Ol'Tujim's Fierce Brew to 135
• Jumjum Spiced Beer to 162
• Shar Vahl Essence to 187 (payala fruit were an easy ground spawn to collect in Shadeweavers as I levelled up a couple alts there)
• Minotaur Hero's Brew the rest of the way (triv 248)

Many people use Faydwer Shakers to 188, but you asked for cheap, and SV Essence is about as cheap as it gets.

Hit 300 today on Zebugony (Zebuxoruk/Xegony).
1,624 KCs to 293
Switched over to BCs when I counted up the number of mouse clicks necessary to do all the subcombines plus the actual combines. Figure over 34,000 clicks minimum.
628 BCs to 300. Worth every pp to save my aching finger.

Thanks for the help, I dinged 300 brewing this morning, been working on it hard last 2 weeks. I been reading alot of the forums since I got the tradeskill bug....next is Fletching.

Ding 300 Brewing on Fennin Ro. 750 combines from 296 to 300 but at least it's done now.

Dinged 300 last night on the Rathe using Kaladim Constitutionals as a skillup.

I sat down a couple weeks ago with enough mushrooms and fungus for 500 combines and went from 248 to 270. Sat down last Saturday with enough for another 500 combines and made it to 290. Sunday I gathered enough for 300 combines and made it to 295. I continued farming, had enough for another 300 combines and decided to give it a shot. I was determined to make it to 300 even if I had to farm some more. After around 100 combines I dinged 300, and a very happy guildy got my leftover mushrooms and fungus.
