Extremly slow to get skill ups?

Hi

I started brewing yesterday and found that skill ups are very slow. I got to 31 and started making ale. I bought 5 stacks of each component and when I was out of supplies I still did not get one skill point even though I was successful more than 18 times while using all of the supplies. Is there something wrong here or is brewing really slow?

If you were making 'ale' (http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_...r=080030010000) then yes, it would be odd that you didnt get any skillups, even with extremely low INT/WIS (which you didnt mention in your post)...

BUT... always remember, NOTHING is outside of the realm of the RNG (random number generator).

Oh, and if you want to go cheaper, do fishing grub+flask of water to 122.
