  • Fetid Essence easy combine trivial at 122, verify recipe?

Someone told me you can make Fetid Essence from a flask of water and a fishing grub in a brew barrel, trivials at 122. Some merchants in PoK and PoT sell fishing grubs, so this would be a very easy way to get skill up if it's true.

    yup

    Yup, easy peasy.

Kinda might want to look on the main site under brewing recipes under *** [zone] essence.

I myself went with Ol' Tujim's Fierce Brew to 130, then skull ale to 150.

If you just need it for tailoring, that Fetid essence will work fine.

I skilled up to 122 making Fetid Essence before PoP came out. There is a merchant on Kerra Island that sells an endless supply of Fishing Grubs. Can't remember the merchants name, but when you enter the zone turn right and the merchant is the first one you come to.

There is also a gnome in PoK who sells the grubs. Is there any other use (i.e. sellback to players) besides skillups for fetid essence? I saw someone selling them for 4pp each in the bazaar.

Follow the link in Lilosh's post, and you'll see what they're used for, including a link to how to make them.
