Popularity of Geerlok Fermentation Device?

Anyone know why the Geerlok Fermentation Device has become popular lately? I've had them for sale for quite some time, without selling any. In the last week, I have sold all that I had. Have I missed some important news here?

I've had mine for months, I haven't heard of any reason to have a run on geerlok fermentation devices. Mabye you priced them low enough that people were buying them to turn in for tribute or something.

It's also possible they just sell more because Brewing is so easy compared to other tradeskills, people might hear that and pick brewing first.

Hmm, I may have to stop giving all of mine to the tribute master and see if I can sell a few for a change!
