  • 200+ skill ups

Im looking to take brewing to 250, but im not sure which way to go about it, I need something fast without a lot of pre combines or a ton of ingredients, pp isnt a problem as long as its fast skill ups.

    Any sudjestions?

      Kati,

I see from your sig that you're already at 202 brewing. You just ain't going to find anything without a ton of ingredients or lots of sub-combines. For ease and speed, Mino hero brews are probably going to be your best option, that'll get you to 248. After that, Kaladim Constitutionals will take you to 250.

          248 to 250 alternative

I would disagree on the 248 to 250 stage and recommend demi-sec champagne instead. Easier to get the ingredients if you have and enchanter friend or an alt as I did.

Constitutionals are cheaper and have much more use though, which was important to me...though I dinged 250 brewing some Ethereal Tempers for a friend before the nerf :P

                  I can't comprehend this statement...

From 200-226 its taken me roughly 50 per skillup, thats over 1000 combines on Mino brew, the last hundred no skillup. With 231 Int while brewing.

How do you sit down to do 2000 combines in one day?

                  Congrats, I'm just curious.

                    Just my own experience, Delfontes:

I had a wisdom of 244 and was around 200 in brewing, doing mino brew. It took me 20 to 40 tries per skillup. Then I picked up a great wisdom item that took my wisdom to 260. Now I get a skillup about every 10 or 20 tries. Yesterday I took my brewing from 203 to 223 in about two hours. That was 20 skillups, so I don't think it was a fluke.

Apparently, that last 16 wisdom made a big difference.

I must be missing something here, with 315 int and 167 wis, my skill ups are taking for ever, about 1 every 50, could this skill be based on wis only?

Brewing now at a pitiful 213

Got 12 skillups in 371 attempts yesterday. Worst run was 72 I think. Wis was at 242.

Not sure why my success rate was so high, but I was doing 60 combines a run in SH running in circles from the barrel to the gnome and back to malt seller. The only buff I use is KEI from my enchanter, which maxxes my INT at 275 and puts my WIS at 167.

It's easy if you have more than one machine, I did something like 3000 celestial essences while I was playing a warrior and a cleric in plane of nightmare. I do multiple thousands of combines fairly often either for myself or for friends when it's dropable components.

The secret is setting up all the components and then duct taping the ctrl button down, yes ducttape even helps in EQ tradeskills. What I did for the essences was set up my mortar and pestle on the left, then 6 10 slot containers stacked immediately to the right of it with scent of marr on the left and celestial solvents on the right (doesn't much matter which) and then a 10 slot container for the celestial essences. That way you just need to click away, and every second container of components you empty, slide it over to cover the container you just finished. You can go through an amazing number of combines that way without really paying any attention to it. Then refill and repeat.
