Brewing Trophy

How many tries have you made to getting this trophy?

I have a current skill of 248. Made an attempt tonight.. 6600pp down the drain. Made me want to cry.

I'd heard horror stories about this trophy so I made myself 5 Artisan's Seals for about 20k total. I tried the trophy combine at 249 + Geerlok and succeeded on the first try. The extra Artisan's Seals are now sitting on my trader, they go for about 6.5k on Kane Bayle.

In the end, I'm probably breaking even if not getting a slight profit, so I'm happy.

between baking and brewing, I went thru 7 seals.. dont' remeber what I spent, but it was alot.. and every attempt was at 250 skill + geerlok when I could remember the geerlok.

Took me 7 tries I think, I was ready to never ever bother with trophies again. But got some more gem drops, so I made the seal, friendly gnome made me the other part cheap and gave it another try. I tried every time with 250 + Geerlok.

I don't think I will bother with the other trophies after this.

My mage got hers first try at 250 skill (unmodified; 252 modified). My enchanter took four tries at the same skill level to get her jewelcrafting trophy.

I've failed about 10 or so total now, most pottery. I have 4 now and even though someone will chime by and say how stupid trophies are, I plan to get the others.

I failed 6ish pottery before getting my first one
failed 2 brewing
failed 2 smithing
failed 0 tailoring!
failed 2 or 3 baking now too (don't have this one yet)
haven't tried fletching or jc ones yet on druid

Guess it's more then 10 heh. My enc got my first trophy in JC on her first try.

Failed my third attempt today at 252 brewing (with geerlock). I'd be making a fourth attempt now, except the server seems to be empty of Jacinths. I want my trophy, but this is getting insanly expensive and time consuming.

I have my JC trophy and it took 3 tries. That's below average from what I hear from others. I tried 2 in one night and ran out of money. The next time was a few weeks later and I got it on the first try.

Paid 4900pp for my seal and got my trophy on first try at 250 skill +2 using Geerlock. Int 255 ...Was very shocked at the time.
