Price of storm rider blood has gone from about 15p to 350p in the last week or so? couple weeks ago I found it on merchants, now the price has gone through the roof.

I have seen a lot more Hurricane Chain and Storm Rider armor coming into the market at some pretty lofty prices. I imagine people are starting to make more of those armor sets for profit, as a result the price of blood is going up.
One other possible explaination is that people are grossly exaggerating the price of anything and everything relating to Grimel, Storm Rider Blood goes into making Hurricane Temper, which is needed for the first Grimel task.
I dont know, just a couple guesses. Either way I cannot see myself paying any more than 60p for Storm Rider blood...Ever. My advice would be to simply decide what it is worth to you, and hold out until you get it for that price. If people keep paying the high cost, it will become the new norm. Stick to your guns, get it for a fair price. -
got a be more to it than that. I never had a problem buying them in the bazaar for 15 - 20p. Suddenly when I checked 5 days ago there were none for sale. In the las 2 days there have been 2 traders selling blood for 375 and 400p. A 20 fold increase in price means something else has changed I would think.Comment

Which server are you on ?
Looking on eqecon at various servers I can't see a global price hike.
It looks like on most servers the prices are quite variable with the low price like you say between 15 and 30pp and the higher end more like 300.
It may just be that some other people have felt the need and bought up the low end stuff on your server temporarilly pushing up the price. I am sure it will drop back down soon.
