  • How Do I?

I am a Brew of a skil 216 and now looking to go Higher....

I wish to make the Quenos Tea.

    1. do the Tea leaves need to be foraged or can i purchase the emerald tea leaves from the vendor in PoK?

    2. If i need to Forage them. (im a Iksar max forage 50) How do i set up a Macro that lets me forage all night and not be at my computer doing it?

    3. Lastly I know that the Recipie is tea leaves, cream, water, eucalyptus, celestial essence, Bayle's Delight. I have never seen or Heard of Bayle's Delight, Can some one please help me to understand what it is and how to get it?

    1) Tea leaves are only foraged in East Karana.

    2) EQTraders does not allow talk of macros or other cheats/actions which violate the EULA. With a max forage of 50, I think your odds of getting leaves are pretty slim as is--a ranger with 190+ forage takes several hours to gather a stack or so. Tea Leaves are just pretty rare

    3) The recipe is found at the bottom of the brewing page under Non-Drinkable brews. It requires 1 griffon feather, 1 King's Thorn (poison ingredient only sold in Steamfont from a gnome rogue), and 1 water.

        THANKS! Carmaris

I was not aware that macros were aginst the eula. I guess I will just buy some for my self and work on some other Brews to get to 250.

even with iksar forage cap, you still will get tea leaves, I believe they made it awhile ago that even with a lower skill, you'll still get the zone specific forages instead of getting them at a skill of 100 forage. Although it may take awhile to collect how every many you need/want. It usually takes me (lvl 55 druid with 200 forage plus foraging machette,) about 2 hours to get about half a stack, more if I shout to the zone that I'm buying them.

As someone who can't forage, I pick up all my tea leaves at the bazaar. There's always someone who has a handful, and occasionally someone is selling a dozen or more. It looks somewhat like people are foraging them as they're farming the many spider silks and HQ cat pelts that drop in EK.

With skill of 200 (another skill is 200+) and a geerlok, I hardly ever fail making the teas, but also can't report on using them for skillups.

Although I have over a stack of leaves in the bank, lately I haven't made any because of some kind of price war in the bazaar. Used to be that there would be 2 or 3 people selling around the 20pp mark with the 'cheap' trader selling at 18pp, but now I see several traders with them going for as low as 12pp.

A ranger/druid with 200 forage can get a stack of Tea Leaves in under an hour in my experience. (My husband is a ranger, and I have a druid twink.) Also don't forget to check the merchants there, you'll sometimes find a few. The Bazaar sometimes has a few, but on Innoruuk at least they are charging 30pp each, which I decline to pay.

                Foraging

Try camping to character screen between forages - it resets your forage button and, depending on your computer speed, can increase the number of times you can forage in a given time.

Iksar foraging, and how long for a stack

Well, one thing to consider, at 50 forage skill, MANY forages find nothing. The biggest advantage to 200ish forage skill is that you at least forage up something on every attempt.

As to getting a stack in an hour with 200 skill, well, only if you get really lucky. The forage skill refreshes every 1:45, so you get about 34-35 forages an hour with perfect timing. I doubt you'd ever get 20 of one item in an hour.

As to logging in and out, well, you better have a fast PC, since on most PCs this will take you over a minute anyway, not gaining you much time.
