Skill cap still 250?

Hey all, probably a silly question, but I heard a rumor that the trade skill cap might be raised past 250 now with the release of the new UI and GoD expansion. Is this true, or is 250 still the maximum?

I just spent a couple days working up my brewing, and I trivialed Mino's brew last night, so i'm only 2 points from 250 and attempting my corker, but if it's now possible to get higher, I'd definitely want to do that so I have less of a chance to fail on the corker

250 is still the max unmodified skill. Nothing has been put forward that would indicate this cap being raised.

why raise it? what would be the point? they'd just end up having to make things they want hard even harder. (say MTPs from 350 to 750 if they doubled the cap).

might as well leave it all where it is..

The new tradeskill UI's that went in show what the trivials are for all the items that trivial above 250. Some items trivial over 300+ but that doesn't mean your skill can go up that high. That's probably where that rumor started.

Okies, thanks for the info guys, most appreciated. It's not like I wanted them to raise it, just making sure that it actually hadn't been. Like I said, I've heard rumors, from more than one source mind you, so I just wanted to check.
