  • what to do from 68 to 110ish?

    Hello all,

i just recently decided to pick up on my lacking tradeskills. have been looking but i can't seem to find a good recipe to take me from 68 on up to 135. i think from about 110 to 135 i'll be doing Ol'Tujim's fierce brew, but would rather not start it now with a skill of 68. so anything that is completely store bought that would take me to 100-110?

thanks in advance for the help given

Fetid Essence is nice till 102.

Fetid essence, or skip straight to skull ale to 151.

As others have mentioned, fetid essence is the way to go. All this requires is one fishing grub and one water in a brew barrel. This will take you to a skill of 122. There is no cheaper or easier way to go. If you try to forage all the grubs it’ll be a pain. But if you have the Planes of Power expansion you can buy the grubs from a vendor. In the center section of the zone, atop some wooden stairs and across from the entrance to the “evil” section of town, is a little gnome gentleman who will sell you all the grubs you can carry. There’s even a lady around the corner who will sell you water.

        Best of luck,

If you don't have PoP, you can buy unlimited fishing grubs from Roary Fishpouncer in Kerra Isle. As mentioned above, this will get you to 122. I went with Skull Ale to 151. The Undead Cyclops drops the skull in South Karanas.

            Tumpy Tonic

If you are a druid or wizard -- or any caster and you have access to either via 2-boxing or a geneous friend -- you can bind on Erlosi Island (spelling? not sure) in OOT in order to secure a supply of non-stackable kiola nuts.

Gate to island, fill up on nuts and port back to the plane of knowledge... the recipe for a Tumpy Tonic is 1 water and 1 kiola nut (1-2g at vendor) and it trivials at 135, so if feasible for you this recipe can take you to 135. I was actually doing that to get from 62 to 135, but found out about the fetid essence from this thread... so I've stopped gating and porting between OoT/PoK until I hit 122 with fetid essence.

            Cheers!

              hmmm

You don't need to do in between steps... just go to PoK and make:

Ol' Tujim's Fierce Brew barley, hops, yeast, malt cask yeild 2 trivial 135
When something is that cheap and easy vendor bought, why bother with inbetween steps?

Roughly 1 hour went from 60-135 on them.

Or skull brew directly to 151 if you want even fewer ingredients, but you need a skull from SK or bazaar, drops in both places.

I did jumjum spiced beer to 168 because all of the ingredients were stackable.
