Brewing Tradeskill Trophy

When you make a Brewing Tradeskill trophy, the recipe is Artisan's seal + corking device. Do you get the corking device back upon failure? And what's the failure rate, roughly speaking?

You do not get the corking device back in either case.

It is always consumed.
