Getting the last 7 skill ups to 200

I am doing the mino brews, and it appears that the skill up rate has deteriorated badly in the switch from fay shakers. Are there any alternatives that appear to have better skill up rates? Or does the RNG just hate me?

I haven't had much issue with MHB myself, and as painful as a nine-item combine is, I've been using them to hit 200. It's not so bad with no subcombines, and I've been getting a regular 1-2 skillups per stack. The skillup rate has been constant enough to not bother doing anything else.

I've been skilling up on Grobb Liquidised Meat, since I can sell it in teh bazaar for a tidy profit as well. With it I average about one skill up per stack.

I ususally only do 2 stacks at a time, since the sub-combines are such a pain. 194 is my current skill.

It's all about your INT/WIS:
I have my own little theory which nobody else seems to buy (look in the general forum), but if it helps you any:
as long as I was under my Int-value in skills I did fine, now...I'm up to 60+ combines per skillup in average at a lvl of 196. My last 2 "skillups" were 90 combines for 195->196 and 156 so far in 196 without being 197 yet ;-)

I personally have given up on tradeskills (wanted a trophy ...but well...) until I find a way to get to 250+ Int...which won't happen anytime soon -if ever- as a bard.
So I decided just to do some Grobb Liqui Mead for my own supply and maybe graba skillup here or there while doing it ,-)

Well, I made my 200 with the mino brews, but to do it I found the ideal place to make them. Neriak Foreign Quarter. Everything is right there, so it was not too painful at all. Glad I am not a froglok wizzie though.
