  • Iksar Brewing

As an iksar, it is very diffcult for me to visit most places. Currently, if I cannot purchase it in PoK, Thurgadin, or Nexus/Bazaar, I cannot brew it. I made it to 168 by having a friend buy a ton of jumjum for me and transport it to me, but I don't think I'll be able to do much of that post-168. Any ideas? At this point, I am thinking Grobb Liquidised Meat is my best option, but if anyone has a better suggestion, I am all for it. I am an iksar shaman. Thanks

Currently on my Iksar I'm doing Faydwer Shakers. You can buy the Dwarven Ale and Elven Wine from a merchant in Fungus Grove that sells to everyone, and the Mead, Gnomish Spirits, and Cask from the gnome in Shadow Haven.

It's a bit of a run to go pick up more supplies in FG, so I fill 2 or 3 backpacks there and go back to SH for the rest and to use the brew barrel. It goes pretty fast with a zone-in to bazaar every now and then to recast SoW.

If I remember right, all the supplies needed for Mino Hero Brew are available in SH also.

Forgot to mention.. Jumjum is sold in SH also. On my Iksar the Amulet by itself wasn't enough to get faction to sell, and I think I had to run the quest 4-5 times for enough faction to use all of the city.

Yeah, the only problem with shopping on a mule is I have a character in every slot, with two being mules (well, one mule is a trader). The two mules have banks full of 10-slot toolboxes and trader satchels, all of which are full, and full on inventory as well. My main toons have a hard enough time trying to clear out inventory enough to go hunt. I had situations come up all too often where I had sold that one stack of rare (whatever) to make whatever, so now I hoard like crazy.

Made GLM last night, and I like it. Not too much work, and I can load my second mule up with them to sell.

          Small update...

Although water flasks are only sold in West Cabilis, all the other ingredients for MHB are sold at the two brewing merchants next to the bank in East Cabilis. The two zones are nearly empty and zoning is fast for when you need to make a run to West to pick up 10-20 stacks of water. It would probably be even faster to bind at the brewing merchants and run to West and gate back.
