I did mine in South Qeynos at Fish's Ale. The brewing supplies are sold across the street over at Voleen's, and Fish himself sells everything else you need right next to the brewbarrel.

In the two or three hundred other posts on this excact same subject (search is your friend), Halas and Highpass are mentioned frequently.

Freeport is OK, all ingredients are available in west except water, which you can get in east or north. To me zoning during skill ups stinks, so I'm not fond of this but did it years ago.

Halas has all ingredients in one room, off different vendors, in the room with the brew barrel.

I recently topped off my brewing with MHBs in shadowhaven. I liked doing them there, no zoning required and can move around a bit (ingredients are on 3 vendors). Lag is low and there are 2 brew barrels in case of competition. Only bad thing about the zone is people will bug you to help them out of the water when they fall in LOL

I really liked Thurgadin. Usually not too many people in the zone, everything you need is nearby, and if you've been working on your Coldain Shawls or just have good dorf faction, you get a little price break along with everything else.

And Ak Anon is good if your gnome faction is good. All but the water is sold in the same room as the brew barrel. The water's about a 20 second run away. *shrug*

I did 188-248 there with my Erudite Wizzy GM brewer.

                Queynos.

Have max faction, and everything is close by.
Now that casks stack, less running around.

AND very few people competing for barrels.

Halas is perfect. everything in one room, including the barrel. and i am usually the only one in the zone. but alas, no skill up today with 60 combines..but i did drink 4 out of my 7 stacks of MHBs. AT is now a whooping 65.

Neriak? I hadn't thought of that. My new main is Iksar and I've been trying to rebuild skills and have been looking for some place other than Shadow Haven to do some brewing. I forgot about High Pass too.

Normally I'd do 200+ in Halas, but Halas, Gukta, and Grobb are among the last cities I've found a way to faction into.

                        Halas hands down.

Three vendors and a brew barrel all in one room. All the supplies right there and you hardly have to move, outside of turning left and right to buy from the vendors.

And now that casks are stackable, OH JOY!

i really don't think PoK is that good for MHB... i seem to recall that zone missing an ingredient, like short beer or something. Personally, i like SH because all the ingredients are close by.

Yup. PoK has no short beer or any other grog for that matter.

Vendors that should be added to PoK:

Grog vendor carrying the basic grogs used in various recipes.

Meat vendor carrying the vendor sellable meats for various recipes.
