Wow, baking has to be the slowest skill to raise. I am doing at least 80 combines per points. yuck

actually pottery is much slower. I assume you are in the hell levels of 190-220? It gets much easier after that. My last MTP run of 100 combines got me to 242 from 233.

      re: slow

Wow, I wish I could get skill ups like you did from 233 to 242 on just 100 attempts.

I'm resting my clicking fingers after making 100 attempts at HMPs and then 100 attempts at CGCs.

I got ONE skillup on the 100th HMP, and 2 skillups during the CGCs.

I was at 218 and now am at 221. INT was 241 (I'm a bard so you should be impressed with the efforts I went through to get my INT that high. )

Taking a breather now while I stock up on ingredients for MTPs and hunt down some more of those pesky griffons. Maybe in a couple weeks I'll be willing to go cross-eyed again and wear out my fingers with my mouse.

I WILL have my trophy though.

        Ugh

Maybe I should stop reading this forum I'm stuck at 198 for baking right now, and while I haven't had the horrific dry streaks (having a 255 wis helps) that some people have, I still know the frustration of getting nothing for all that work. The problem is, I'm down to my last Picnic (yes, I actually eat my products, though I do try to forcefeed myself foraged snacks to make them last), and I can't bring myself to actually /buy/ picnics in the bazaar. After all, if I'm aspiring to be a Grandmaster Baker, how can I possibly buy what I should be making?
