I had a feeling this wasn't going to work but tried it anyway as the only heartfruit I know of that currently exists used used to be edible.

1 Ripened Heartfruit, 1 Spices [Collapsible Mixing Bowl] = DNC
1 Ripened Heartfruit, 1 Spices [Collapsible Spit] = DNC

Wonder if the Karana part refers to the use of Blessed Dust of Karana. It is used to make the Lucky Cabbage. Lucky Cabbage and Ripened Heartfruit?

I doubt that would do anything. I was looking at the "Spiced Heartfruit" and was wondering if perhaps that was the result of a combine.... not something that was foraged or dropped.

Since I saved the Ripened Heartfruit, I'll go forage some Heartfruit Walnuts later. Maybe the walnuts are used to spice the heartfruit? Dunno.

It can also be possible that the spiced heartfruit isn't even in the game right now thus all DNC would need to be reverified.

I meant to imply that the dust may be the spice. The dust is the only thing I can think of that would add the Karana to this recipe.

Good point, Blessed Dust of Karana may be used in spicing the Heartfruit... btw, since there are those "knuckle joints" is there any possibility in making some kind of Nutcracker?

I don't know about all that, but maybe we can make a knuckle cracker?

What would we need a "knuckle cracker" for? We're tradeskillers; we've destroyed our joints enough to guarantee our children get arthritis!

Besides, looking through a list pulled by an emulator, for a recipe that was never introduced is pointless.

And doing feedback to demand that they add drops from your emulator to the game is just silly.

Find me someone in-game who mentions this recipe, or a text in game where the salad is mentioned, and I'll change my mind.

Actually, you have no clue how the data got to the emulator do you? If you did, you would see just how silly *you* are being. The items the emulator uses were/are *actual* in-game items at the time the live database was harvested. Maybe the Heartfruit Salad has been removed since, but it *was* in the real EQ items database at one point. There are many items that don't have someone in-game mentioning them. In fact, Brodder's Revenge is in-game (but possibly broken) and there are no Brodder's Diaries that mention the drink.

Using the new interface on test/beta, a couple of subcombines for Karana's salad are revealed. One shows an ingredient not yet found in game however.

                        ---Emerald Tea Leaf
                        ---Waterleaf Scale
                        ---Speckled Pine Fruit (MIA)

                        Spiced Heartfruit - mixing bowl
                        ---Water Flask
                        ---Heartfruit Walnut
                        ---Cinnamon sticks

Palm Leaf Oil - Brew Barrel
                        ---Water Flask

If they are there, they aren't one of the recipes listed by default.

Has anyone done any extensive foraging in Nedaria's Landing?

Just a hunch but both items may be foraged from there (would stink but still)
