Can't get my fish bones

Under your section for the PoP fishing pole quest you say the recipie for fish bones is fish Roots(foraged) Celandine Herb and fileting knife. I have tried in my colapaseable spit and a tannan oven and cant get them to combine. PLEASE can someone tell me what im doing wrong

have to combine them in a tackle box since they use the fishing skill to extract the bones.
