I was offline for three months, got everything straightened out with the cable company, came back to my main and decided to try raising my baking skill again, since I always have fun doing so. I had a half stack of flour in my inventory, and since I decided to start making pasta with cheese, went to a merchant in BBM to fill it up. When I bought the flour, oddly enough, it didn't fill the stack I had.. so I tried manually piling it all together.. didn't work. I looked at them both, cup of flour, cup of flour... "what's going on here?" I asked myself... then I realized that they were two different weights.. the new flour was lighter. For experimentation purposes, I tried making noodles.... water from a vendor, one snake egg, one cup of flour (new) ... does not combine. Am I going mad, or is there something strange here? Any enlightening comments would help, thanks.

This makes perfect sense to me. The old flour is, well, old. Its rampant with husks and most likely filled with weevils. The new flour uses a new, more refined, milling process and is therefore much more advantageous for baking. Thus its lighter weight. If you don’t believe me, keep in mind that the only thing the old flour is good for is making rat pie. I rest my case.Pait Spiritwalker
