Mana and Food

One of my guildmates stated in guildchat

"Too bad the mana on food doesn't work."

This is news to me.

Can anyone refute this? Specifically with some quote from SOE saying it's "working as intended."

I believe it used to be bugged and not working, however that was fixed a few patches back. =)

It definitely works. Tried it out with a level one. There was a noticeable difference in the mana pool with mana enhancing food.

I also have tried it on numerous lobies when chanting some bars or making mana and it works.
