I have a question. A cook in the palace of Shar Vahl gives you a quest to cook worm meat for him, but it does not work.

Cook Yalkiin says 'I can make broth from just about anything. Meat, water, and spices can be turned into a base broth for just about any stew or sauce. The current favorite around here comes from the meat of the large worms that come up from the earth around the base of our city. I know that they look horrid, but they really do taste great! If you want to help, I will pay you for every four servings that you bring me.'

Well, he's the cook. It sounds an awful lot like he wants you to bring him the meat itself for him to cook, not to prepare it yourself.

To me, this means he wants you to bring servings to him in quantitys of 4.

He gives newbie stuff in exchange for 4 worm meats. The exp was unmeasurable last time my kitty twink did the quest.

Yep, that's it. The meat is from the Xakra Larva in the Pit. I believe the meat is no-drop. Turn them in to the cook 4 at a time and you get back a little coin and some random item like a wooden weapon or leather armor. Better money selling the items than what you'd get from just selling the meat.

Yeah. The worm meat dropps from the worms around Shar Vahl and they are not no-drop and you can give them in for the reward, but why is the cook talking about that receipe?

A senseless receipe only to fill the lines for a quest text???
