After making around 160 MTP's on my recent picnic run (went from 204 to 222), I decided to call it a day and go into trader mode in the bazaar. Checking the prices of MTP's I saw 800 going for 5pp from one trader with another 600 ranging up to 10pp. Needless to say I sold none that night. I went back to Jaggedpine the next day to do some vendor mining (slim chance), XPing (off the occasional DB anaconda or panther). foraging the odd plant shoot, and taking down any griffawn/griffon which crossed my path. Not able to afford the 15pp per piece which is roughly the standard zone auction price and therefore completely unable to pay the 30+pp per piece offered by the resident bazaar trader who grabs them all and marks them up, I decided to try a different type of zone auction:
"WTT Misty Thicket Picnic for Anaconda/Griffon Meat or plant shoot; trading 1 for 1; PST"
Was pleasantly surprised to that over the course of 6hrs (with some breaks in between) that I managed to unload about 110 MTP's in exchange for meat/shoots which coupled with my personal harvest of around 40 components allowed me to get 154 combines of AM/GM/CVC's.
To top it off, I managed to get 10 skillups off of them

The point of this longwinded post?
Better to barter than to add to an already oversaturated bazaar market!
