Question from a new chef

Hi all. I'm fairly new to the kitchen & a question has arisen. I've seen numerous references to a geerlock device used in baking. I looked at the tinkering recipes & saw nothing that granted a modifier to baking. Can someone clue me in? My skill is currently at 193 & because I'm tired of chasing Griffons all over Jagged Pine I'm going to start on the HMP's...thought a skill modifier would be awfully nice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

In order to get the effect, it needs to be equipped. Primary slot only for all Geerlock devices.
