Necromancer Meat

You all are my last hope on this one.

I was smashing stuff in Najena to get the drop for Ghoulbane awhile back. In between "a Skeleton" cycles I would beat up on other random trash to alleviate boredom. Most of the Dark Elf mages and necros dropped "Dark Elf Parts" which was to be expected. However one necro dropped something I hadn't run across before:

I've dug around all the usual places and can't find any information on this item. Google chokes on it. AllaK's doesn't have it. I'm running out of avenues. Is this meat for some obscure recipe? Can anything be made out of this or is it for some as of yet undiscovered/widely known quest? Am I just looking in the wrong places?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Trying to decide if I should hang on to it or if it is just wasting a bank slot. Maybe I should try the standard "Sauce + Spice + Meat" recipe...but I'd rather not on the chance that it would actually work and the meat is used for something better.

I assumed your main (SK?) is holding the meat, no? Get a hold of Silvery Mask (Kael quest) or Rod of Identification (Rivervale quest). Both are droppable so you might find them in bazaar. They have triggered identify effects. Hold the meat on your cursor and trigger the spell.

Star of Eyes or Holgresh Grand Vizier Beads works too but that's not SK usable, I don't think.

Ok. I will see if I can find one of those items in the Bazaar tonight. if I can snag one I'll I.D. the meat and update here with the information.

or hold the item on yor curser and have somebody that can cast identify cast on you.

Or you can simply jump over to Magelo, punch the item into the database, and see what comes up.

It Identifies as Necromancer Meat. I also noticed that there are two different types of Necromancer Blood listed. Both Identify as Necromancer Blood, although one is green and the other is red. The green one has an Item # exactly one higher than the Necromancer Meat, while the red one appears to be much older.

What that means, I don't know.

I doubt this is for baking. Sounds like quest item to me, but I could be wrong.

Identify

I believe Identify will only show additional information about LORE items. (not all LORE items, but many of them)
Casting identify on any non-LORE item will simply give you the name of the item, as there is no lore to be revealed.
