  • Snow griffon souffle trivial ?

I was doing the snow griff soufle 2 days ago (with Paly) and failed twice without getting a trivial message with a skill of 136.

I am wondering if the trivial was changed or if I'm just special

I noticed on the recipe page it lists a trivia of 122 but on the quest page it says trivial 118-127..... so I'm wondering if it is even higher than that?

    Thank you,

    Eileah Deltorros

You never ever get a trivial message from failing.

      You're doing the baking?

      Grats!

      I never did

Probably just rotton luck, I am pretty sure the trivials are correct... though it doesn't hurt to make a few patty melts to way trivialize it.

YOU have to have the third shawl, and the person recieving the MQ must have the second shawl.

You turn in your seal of thoridan, and the MQ Reciever has to turn in their second shawl. They get your Seal of Thoridan, and They get a 3rd shawl.

You lose your seal in the process.

The seal I used was made by one guy in our guild a while back...

Then went through another guildie... then to me, and I MQ'd it to yet another guildie a few days ago.

It is kinda funny playig Hot Potato with a no-drop item .

Every guild really should have one or 2 being passed around to save snow griffons and such, which I've never killed, hehe.

Once you have the second shawl, just ask around anyone who has their 8th shawl you know that is a friend/guild and see if they didn't destroy their seal from the third one.

I failed my first souffle attempt with a Baking skill of 200, but then I always fail my first attempt at everything I do

I was so happy to make that darn soufflé with my druid. I thought I’d never have to do it again. Then I started playing a shaman as my main. *sigh* I haven’t started my shawl quest with him, but I’m sure I will eventually and I’ll have to hunt snow griffons again.

In general I don’t mind killing them. They are one of the nastiest tempered creatures in the game. They may look majestic, but they’re just bullies at heart. Though I normally honor the creatures I kill, snow griffons are the exception.

You can also MQ the "soufflé" portion of the quest if you know someone who has it. Just have that person hand in the soufflé then you hand in your napkin.

Yes it works, after my original post and the replies about MQing it I went out and had a fun time killing griffs in EW, I had incredibly luck, 8 Griffs and 6 eggs in 15 mins... Praise Tunare!

I made the Soufle and MQ'd it with my Paly friend and it went perfect.....

                        If I had only known.....

Well I still have my seal and now my Paly friend has one too, so we will just pass it around to all our alts since they are mostly on their 3 shawl also..... Kinda like a gift that keeps on giving 8)

nono, they're not giving it to the other person directly.

when you multiquest, the item that the first person gives to the second person's mob gets handed back, if applicable, to the second person. thus, person A has NoDropItem1, and MQs it with person B. B ends up with Item1, who then later MQs shawl with C. C gets Item1, later MQs with D.... and so on down the line.
