Questions About Egg(s) - Drop Info

Here is a list of some eggs that I can have questions about. I'm trying to find the exact drop spots for them. It appears for the most part that "foraged" eggs have a plural name while a "looted" egg is singular (although this might not always be true). I'm trying to confirm some baking recipes but I seem to be runing into a few pieces of conflicting data.

Cockatrice Egg(s) - Foraged / Looted (Is there such thing?)

Dragon Egg(s) - Looted (or Foraged??)

Drake Egg(s) - Looted (or Foraged???)

Griffon Eggs(s) - Foraged (East Commons) / Looted (Is there such thing?)

Shissar Eggs(s) - Looted (or Foraged??)

Wurm Egg(s) - Looted (or Foraged??)

Nifilik Egg(s) - Looted (or Foraged??)

Snow Griffin Egg - Looted (Eastern Wastes) (Confirmed)

Drake eggs, dragon eggs, wurm eggs (not sure if listed as plural or singular on item in game name) can be foraged in western wastes. I am pretty sure you can get the same type of drake eggs as loot (very rarely) in SS (that was before the change though so I don't know now).

Shissar eggs are looted in Ssra, I'm pretty sure they're nodrop and not any good for baking though.

Drake Egg(s) - Foraged in WW, ToV and Skyshrine(I believe)

Nifilik Egg(s) - Foraged I *believe*, been hunting a bit in Guntak and have yet to see a Nifilik drop an egg.

Snake Egg(s) - Yeah, go to a newbie zone, kill snakes, lol.

Snow Griffin Egg - First, I dont think you can use this to make dough, so it doesnt really matter. Secondly, I think anyone who used one of these for dough would be beaten without mercy, right Grimina?

snow griffin eggs cannot be used in baking regular dough. I got one while hunting for mammoth meat from my pet snow griffin after I was done (sorry shoot me he was light blue and I wanted at least a small little pixel of exp /cringe) I tried the standard dough combination and got DNC.

Shissar eggs are looted in Ssra, I'm pretty sure they're nodrop and not any good for baking though.

The recipe page shows Shissar eggs can be used to make Noodles.

Snow Griffin Egg - First, I dont think you can use this to make dough, so it doesnt really matter

Right, these would be used to make Snow Griffin Souffle and the baking page says they can be used to make Noodles also.

What I'm really looking for here is confirming the in-game name of the egg(s) and if some of them even exist. I need to do this because of three reasons.

1. A looted egg can sometimes have higher yields on combines than foraged eggs.

2. Normally, a looted egg is a totally different "item" than a foraged egg and they are named different (usually an "s" is added to foraged eggs). Even the image is sometimes different.

3. Some recipes on the baking page call for egg types that I can't confirm even exist in the game. A very good example of this is the looted version of the aviak egg.

Unfortunately, I don't have a character that can forage so I'm relying on the expertise of those that have foraged for years.

I can confirm Drake Egg and Wurm Egg can be foraged from Skyshrine. Never foraged a Dragon Egg in SS, only in WW so far.

In my travels... I have had KFC dinners thousands of times...

Great place to go, and kill the factionless birds... and mourn their loss as they go down.

They drop decent gems, 4-12pp each, a golden pendant or 2, lots of words/runes...

In more than 1000 bird kills, solo and grouping with multiple characters... not one bird has dropped an egg in SK.

Ok, now back on topic....

I don't see what recipe you mean, I have been under the impression that they were all foraged, though technically I have never seen one, as I don't forage.

I did see a yield listed for looted aviak eggs for dough... so I guess I might be wrong here.

Maybe just list what you want to make, and we can tell you what you need?

If you want dough, who cares what everything drops, just kill basalisks, hehe.

I can confirm the nodrop shissar eggs are bakeable and that the noodle yield is as posted on the message boards (awesome, they are)

I'll try to get out to Lake Rathe and whack some birds there to see if they drop eggs. I can't find anyone in-game that has ever looted one.

I'm not trying to make anything in particular. I'm trying to confirm the recipes that are listed. To confirm these recipes,I needed to confirm some of the ingredients.
