Forgive me for not having a character that forages but how rare a forage are mushrooms? I keep checking the Bazaar to buy some but I have never seen more than 2 at a time for sale and I think I'll need a couple of hundred to get my baking to 200. Would it be feasible for me to make a Wood Elf Ranger and have him/her forage the mushrooms without having to get too many levels?

Foraging Mushrooms
Mushrooms are not too rare a forage, and can be foraged in many of the Luclin zones. I don't keep track of how fast I forage them, but would estimate I could probably get a stack in maybe 2 hours of foraging.
If you are not a forager yourself, ask your friends/Guildies who do forage to hang onto any for you.
Hugs,
Tiniane.

If you can get into Plane of Storms, Storm Salmon Fillets is a much better altenative to skill up. With high fishing skill, you get about 1 stack of Storm Salmons on 100 baits.Xibixl Nokeiforu

I know on the Mushrooms when I do remember to forage in Shadow Haven I usually get either a Mushroom or a Root. I have a bear skin potion bag full of them right now.

As I understand it, mushrooms "replace" vegetables in the forage table. To max the amount you get, go to a zone with a low forage table (echo caverns is the one I use, but there are a few that have low tables and thus increased rate of mushroom forages).

My 2cp
I'll have to agree with the post above that Shadow Haven just ROCKS for foraging Mushrooms. I get Mushrooms 80% of the time I forage there. If not a Mushroom, a Root or Pod of Water.
Good luck!

I always had really good luck in Echo Caverns with my foraging mule. The forage table is (if I remember) water, roots, grubs, and mushrooms, so you get lots of mushrooms. Hehe, at one point, I had ~56 STACKS of ohabah truffles.

I find mushrooms to be a nuisance in SH.
I cant walk 3 steps with one of the blasted things appearing on my cursor.
I would highly recommend it, If you havent trivialed the blasted truffles yet.

SH for Shrooms
I had 2 computers and had 2 of my friend's druids logged in. In 1.5-2.0 hours I had 2 stacks of shrooms. They worked really well on getting me skillups (though I've heard others didn't fair so well), I believe I got from 191-202 in around 100 combines. There doesn't seem to be much else on the SH forage table so it is a great zone (best I've seen in Luclin so far) for shroom hunting.Taku Regalodedios
