    188-189 = 212 combines
    191-192 = 120 combines
    196-197 = 160 combines
    197-198 = 140 combines
    198-199 = 120 combines

Those are just runs that took more than 100 combines.

Over the course of 2000 combines I got a total of 34 skill ups.

So far you guys are scaring me. I thought my run was bad enough..

191-197 has been 160 MTP's. That's with a wisdom of about 260-270. I am very nervous about the jump from 197-201 now.

Been farming Anacondas and griffons of late as I need a break from the hoarde of pre-combines (and PL'ing my druid at the same time)

        OMG!

I can't believe this... I went from 191 to 198 in Baking with 98 attempts on Cheesy Griffon and Anaconda Casseroles!

I'm saying OMG because I'm hearing some of you say you're doing 100+ combines for 1 skillup in the hell levels of the 190's.

Admittedly, the meat is *really* hard to come by unless you farm it yourself (which I did) or have a huge bank account and buy it. It's not that the Griffs and Anacondas are that hard to kill so much as you only get one drop for kill, if you're lucky. I've killed many that didn't drop any meat at all.

But all that aside, I'm thrilled to get that many skill ups in that many attempts! I think both of those trivial out at 199 (I'll have to look) but I imagine it's on to Misty Thicket Picnics if I choose to GM in Baking.

(Edit) I was successful on about 41 ot the attempts, give or take a few either way.

At any rate, hope this is a ray of hope for any of you that choose to GM Baking

Thankfully Anaconda Melts, Griffon Melts and Cheesy Vegetable Casserole will all take you to 250 skill. So logically you should save up all your meat and plant shoots until after Halas Pies trivial. But I just couldn’t do that. I got so sick of Pies I just had to make the melts and casseroles. But I’m very thankful there are three easy recipes from JP that we can use to reach 250. I am soooo sick of sub combine after sub combine after sub combine. Now if I could only learn to kill the griffons and anacondas more carefully so I can get enough meat off their bodies to make more than one sandwich.

              Ruh Roh...

I'm about to make it worse... I made it to 200 on 26 more attempts!

Yuck. I thought I was having a hard time. I am at 217 atm, and making pies 100 pie combines at a time. Never had less than 2 skill-ups per 100. Usually get 4-6. That's with 185 wisdom (with KEI). I am truely frightened to think I may be in for a 200+ run with no skill-ups.
