  • Food duration -- order from shortest to longest

I'm a bit confused as to which lasts the longest etc.. please tell me if these assumptions are correct =)

    snack
    meal
    hearty meal
    banquet
    feast
    miraculous meal
    enduring meal

Enduring is in the wrong place...

I think it is close to banquet, but I have only heard of 1 enduring food, and I think it was supposed to be just a drink duration.

    Otherwise correct though.

I found two recipes in the LoY recipies section. Crispy Gourami and Sea Urchin Stew.

Where is the enduring drink located on drink duration scale?

Thanks for the link. I remember reading that when it was first posted. Now that was a blast from the past. *smiles*

One interesting thing to note is that lucy shows actual numbers for food/drink duration. http://lucy.fnord.net

Ohabah truffles are 70. Misty thicket picnics are 120 (120 is the longest duration I could find).

I think this is the default number of in-game hours (3 minutes each) that a food will last if there are no race/class/zone/AA modifiers, and if not force fed. A typical snack (vegetables, 5) should last 15 minutes; a typical meal (loaf of bread, 10) should last 30. A misty thicket picnic should last about 6 hours...

If nothing else it'll give you the ratios between foods. A misty thicket picnic lasts as long as 12 loaves of bread.

The Lucy stuff is very interesting, but I am more inclined to believe it is 2 to 1, not 3 to 1.

A MTP will last close to 4 hours, 240 minutes real time.

Kali Constitutionals are the only drink that has that length I think.

Hmm...now that I think about it, you're probably right. 2:1 does seem more likely.

While checking Kaladim Constitutionals on Lucy, I found this:

                  http://lucy.fnord.net/item.html?id=15994 - Twice Brewed Constitutional

This is indicated as lasting twice as long (240 vs 120 for KC), but there doesn't seem to be a recipe for it.... is it a vendor item, or a drop, or what?

I guess I could try the double-brewed double-stout recipe variations if no-one else has done it already....

Isn't the twice-brewed constitutional part of the Aid Grimel quest?

Ah yes, probably why I couldn't find it in the Recipe pages.
