Erudite Meat

Hiyas,

as a Dark Elf Wizard im particularly interested in baking
those poor Victims of my Spells ...

In Dulaks Harbor i stumbeled upon Erudite Meat ... sadly it resisted
all my attempts to use the Standard Recipes on it ...

Any Ideas out there ?

The new alchemy potions use these (and other exotic meats) to make illusion potions.

I found half-elf meat in LoY and spent around an hour trying to make it edible. No joy, it was just too stringy :/

Hehe, well the kobolds in the Warrens have managed to figure out a way to cook them, but won't give up the recipe. Though perhaps you can "persuade" Foodmaster Rargnar to part with a few barbecued erudite steaks, if you really want to know what they taste like.

Have question, theres erudite parts, yet no recipe? i have seen and bought off merchants erudites steaks. how do you make them or is this also mob drop/quest drop? so far i have 4 erudite parts and 2 erudite steaks but yet to find the recipe. anyone know off hand? where do you go to get erudite steaks???

The Warrens

As post just above yours says , in a way, Foodmaster Rargnor (or somesuch name) drops them when you kill him & pry them from his cold dead hands. He is in the Warrens zone & seems to guard this recipe to his grave would be nice if some of these unusual combines would be incorporated into EQ as a bakers quest of sorts. Let's say some NPC has stumbled upon some lost books of recipes and is dying to try them out. In return for locating some of these meats (Erudite, Half-Elf, etc..) they would share with you the recipe. This recipe could be in the form of a scroll that is NO DROP LORE ,to keep people from NOT doing the quest & getting the recipe, and this scroll needs to be included in the 'combine' in order for it to work. Just a bakers dream I guess

HEHE Meat huh ? wow !! I have heard of so little LOL I was giving away some Bear Steaks one night & someone asked me if I had some 'Hobgoblin Suprise' LOL. I thought they were just pulling my leg but she said it was indeed a real recipe LOL. I am going to go check on the HEHE meat ? You say it's a quest ? Maybe I just havent looked hard enough for it on Traders but I will go now. Thanks...Quests are one way to keep excitement going. 8)
