How do you get this stuff? Its optional in several recipes but no infop on how to get it

it's sold in Cobalt Scar from the othmir merchants.

To be more specific... it's ONLY sold by the Othmir in Cobalt Scar.

What this means is you more or less have three options.

1) You can kill enough dire wolves and giants in Great Divide to get ally faction with the dwarves in GD, which means your faction with the dragons in Cobalt Scar will be good enough that you won’t be eaten.
2) You can have somebody else pick you up a few stacks.
3) You can have SoW and Levitate up when you gate in, invis as quickly as possible and make a run for the cliffs. If your lucky you wont have to make a corpse run. This is assuming you’re a druid or a wizard.

On the bright side, the items themselves are very cheap.

Calabar... for me it hasn't been nearly that difficult.

The Wyverns seem to be permacamped, with multiple druids and others killing them as fast as they spawn...

I usually am Sowed and Levitating anyhow, but I don't bother invising, just walk over the cliff and down to the beach.

Only died in CS twice... one time wondering what is in that building... turns out, wyverns, that are as fast as my sow...

Second time on a CR looking for that corpse that was 'in' the cliff side I was running down... killed by the things at the end of the beach I wasn't expecting to encounter.

Delfontes, you have a very good point. I’d forgotten how popular that zone is for druids. Funny thing is, on the five or six visits I’ve made to CS I never saw the wyverns hunted. And yet I always here that zone recommended for druids on message boards. *shrugs*
