I haven't paid more than 400 for any of mine.

It all depends on supply and demand though....

For the mortar and pestle that I only use for 1 thing someone wanted 590, for a week it was the only one for sale. I get annoyed buying the mortar and pestle, doing my combines and selling it back to the vendor.

I looked up the ingredients, all store bought, but a couple sub combines for the metal sheets...

Found a gnome needing skill-up, did the sub combines for him, handed ingredients for 2, said first for me, second for him... he succeeded on both. He got a free one and 2 chances for skill-up and I was out 40pp or so I think for ingredients.

The only reason these don't go for 50pp each is that they are lore, so people can't use them for skill-ups, and can only make one at a time... impossible to flood as it were.

good point about the lore-ability of them

hey, what was the name of that gnome you found? the collapsables that I need are just way out of my price range.

        Gnomes are easy to find...

        Just look down

        Or do

        /who 40 50 gnome all

Depending on server, list wont be as long as you think. Likely one of them is working on tinkering, and anyone under the trivial is more apt to want to assist free of charge.

A higher level gnome will usually value their time higher, and be less willing to do a trivial combine for you.

Don't forget to gather all ingredients and do all sub combines you can before contacting one. Be polite, try to find one in nexus/pok/bazaar that isn't likely grouping of otherwise busy, shouldn't take long. Always make sure there is something in it for them as well (chance of skill-up, ingredients for one for themselves etc.). About all the advice I can give you.

You're probably not on my server, and I plan on returning to that gnome in the future for other combines, so I don't wanna give his name away publicly.

They take up one space IN a bag instead of being a container. When you right click it, they stay the same but they summon a regular container that you can use. So you stick the collapsable one back in your backpack and open the summoned one like a normal spit/mixing bowl whatever.
So this means that you still need an empty main slot to put the summoned spit in to right click it to open?

What if you dont have an empty main slot? How would you open it?

Or does the spit come opened when summoned?

Thinkers always need Coiled Spring and other items from PoI. I away do combines and give them to people for free for some of these items.

Yes it is hard to keep items in Bazaar on my Mule, because the item is Lore, can only put one of them on him at a time. So when it is sold, do not have anymore until I get one transferred to him.

You make one... you need an empty slot to open it into. Basically having a bunch of collapsable containers means only having to leave 1 slot open, and being able to put 3-4 different containers there.

I have 7 10 slot bags on me, and an empty slot that usually has my J-boots, but switches to whatever tradeskill bag I need when I summon it.

You just destroy the summoned container when you're done with it.

I got the collapsable spit and mixing bowl when PoP first came out. I traded several Coiled Springs I bought off a vendor in PoK for them.
