Allow my my small moment of rambling victory, wedged in between all you 'I have my Spoon!' people. ^_^ =P
( A huge hearty yay goes out to all the people who have their Spoon, btw. ^_^ Not trying to shaft you at all. )
Last night, this whitecon evil dark elf comes up to me in the Bazaar as soon as i had entered Trader mode, and browsed my wares for a really long time. Upon my inquiry whether I could help him, he responds that he is hungry and only has 3 plat. We agreed that half a stack of Habenero Peppers was worth his three plat.
So then, I decide to splurge and get a Basilisk egg with my new 3 plat. One egg, three plat. Yes. But it made the promised 15 stacks of dough, so I was happy. I then preceeded to use my new shiny bread tin to make bread.
I have now decided that this was the best three plat I have yet spent in Everquest. For even though I only made 5 loaves of Bread, I got 6 skillups in 15 tries. Yes. I achieved points 60-65 on that three-quarter stack of dough.
I then proceeded to make apricot marmelade -- another two skillups in 12 fruit -- and then, marmalade sandwiches! All told I got about 10 points last night just while standing in Tradermode.
I wish I could be crafty like this in real life. I don't think the dorm people would appreciate me trying to make apricot marmalade in the dorm room. ^_^
So I'm all happy now.
I'm also amused. Where on earth do I keep foraging the vegetables from in the Bazaar? The walls are stone! Oh well, not arguing. ^_^
