I feel like a noob all over again

My husband and I stopped playing EQ 4 years ago and just recently came back. (I missed doing tradeskills the most LOL) I am getting the hang of everything and tradeskills are just as fun as before, however, there are some recipes that are on the sight that I can not combine. For example, Eron's frogs legs recipie. I collected all the items and tried to combine and it told me something to the effect of "everything seems right but you need more information." I have also heard there are some recipes you can't do until you've read the recipe book for it. My problem is, I can't find the recipe books anywhere Can someone please help me?

Let me try a different approach.

It appears that you selected a recipe from a list at EQTraders, perhaps from the trivial list, or becuase you found a component that looked interesting. It so happens that the recipe you selected is part of a quest, and only those who engaged the quest can do the combine.
