Drake intestines drop rate

Has anyone gotten these to drop recently? I've killed for 20+ hours in several regular and instanced DoN zones and NONE have dropped.. Did they secretly go away or now a Super Secret Ultra Rare drop instead of Common?

I had two drop the weekend before list in about an hour (three cycles) from normal version of Thundercrest Isle doing a task for my mage bot. I was base camped in the area where you start during Creator instance missions.

I had a reasonable rate doing non-instanced nest till I got my sparkling nest ore. Havent been back since.

I've had the same problem - in 3 weekends of non-stop farming intestines, I've gotten about 2. It seemed to change when the new TS items went live. Any chance to get someone to look into this for possible changes?

i recently descided i wanted to make 5x Bristlebane's Challenge so had to farm a good amount of these. I tried several places but the bestd rop rate was in the normal nest, I just kited all the drakes in the zone ina rea, about 15 or so and averaged about 1 per hour i think.

How long ago, Darc? I have tried regular and instanced nest for days and gotten NO drops; however, before the loot tables changed for the new drops, I was getting them at the rate you describe.

Ngreth has said many, many, MANY times that these things have separate drop tables for different types of drops.

On the other hand, I've noticed trends in both foraging and some harder to get drops, where during one 24 hour period few if any of the drops I want are dropping (or turning up on forage), while in the next 24 hour period they DO drop. I've never seen an explanation for this seeming "periodicity" but I know for a fact it exists. /shrug

As per Ngreth's post in the other thread in the general area.

Drakes will receive a generic drop of Drake Intestines but will need a patch to go in (probably not gonna happen until SoF release). This means that you may find them in Ashengate and in the new SoF zones where drakes exist. Think 5% chance to drop was the number he used.

what is the webbing used for? And I am not sure there is room on the table. This is one of the cases where i actually did reduce the drop rate of something (the blood, since it is just a flavor drop)

Will Sunderock Spring have the 5% chance of dropping intestines? If you need room on a drop table, you could remove Swirling Mist drops, no one would miss it
