Could you please post the full, complete, and exact name of every item you were putting in the spit? (Verifying the name in game as you make another attempt would be preferred.) Also the full name of the spit.

Hmm. I know I already asked, but are you sure you used a pie tin, not a muffin tin or another item with the same graphic?

Aside from that, I'd suggest bugging the combine. Historically, most combines that require a Tanaan or planar container have worked in a collapsible one, ever since the collapsibles were introduced. There are some exceptions, but those are usually quest related. My gut says that this is some odd bug, not an intended effect.

I just happened to make these the other night. I was clearing out supplies from my bank while on a CR tradeskill binge, and found myself with jord meat and no-where near PoK. I did have from way back when a collapsed spit in my bank, and tried it out and it worked like a charm for me.

Perhaps it was a nonstick fry pan, that one got me last weekend .
