New Ice Cream Recipes

I'm trying to figure out what ice you can use in the new ice cream recipes in place of Ice of Velious. The DoN foraged "Chunk of Ice" does NOT work. Dangit. Anyone have any ideas or found out what it is yet? For reference I'm using the basic Chocolate Ice Cream recipe and doing a straight substitution on the ice.

edit: I did a quick lucy search for items that have "ice" in the name. This is what looks like a possibility based on name alone. I'll update this as I go:

Gelidran Ice (RSS Basement) - doubtful, used for armor
Glistening Ice (EF LDoN, no drop, temporary) - doubtful, temporary

Perfectly Marbleized Ice Pile (EF LDoN)
Enchanted Bar of E'cian Ice (Smithed from Chunk of E'cian Ice)
Sheet of E'cian Ice (Smithed from Chunk of E'cian Ice)
Fetish of Ice Mastery (Droga) - doubtful, very rare quest item
Ice Dragon Crystal (Skyfire)

Confirmed:
Chunk of Condensed Ice (Luclin drop) - NO
Chunk of Ice, non-drinkable (DoN Forage) - NO
Chunk of E'cian Ice (PoWater Drop) - NO
E'cian Ice Shards (Smithed from Chunk of E'cian Ice) - NO
Distilled Essence of Ice (Merchant Woad) - NO
Heart of Ice (Icebone Skellies, LOIO, lore, no drop) - NO
Gray Colored Ice (Frontier Mtns) - NO

Merchant Woad has had all the books for tradeskill stuff so far, I'd check him myself but I'm still downloading TBS (on dial up - at night when I don't play)

I checked Merchant Woad and he didn't have any related books that I could see, but he did have "Distilled Essence of Ice", which I tried and it didn't work.

In the ice cream recipes, replace the ice of velious with 2 of the temporary ice, so:

2 Ice + Rock Salt + Chocolate + Cup of Sugar + Bottle of Milk + Cream = Chocolate Ice Cream.

That should be 10 combines per Ice of Velious. Also, the recipe to break down the ice is titled "Ice (Ice of Velious)" which suggests that other ices might also be able to be broken down. I tried all the ices I had previously tried and none worked however:

Chunk of Condensed Ice
Chunk of Ice, non-drinkable
Chunk of E'cian Ice
E'cian Ice Shards
Distilled Essence of Ice
Heart of Ice
Gray Colored Ice

The other recipes probably refer to the other reciepes mentionned in the book on the gnome in the Barren Coast.

There is mention of 2 more powerfull ways to make ice..
first one is (not exact text) with spell research. Etch a rune of frost with Dehidral burin into a Ice of Velious and hold together with vial of viscous mana.

Tried combining ice of velious rune of frost vial of viscous mana and dehidral burin in spell research kit and in both the LoY spell container for chanter and wizard but got DNC...so probably I am missing something obvious

Second way speaks of a tinkered permanent ice thingy..not looked at details for that as I asumed (which might be false) that it would need the second stuff

tried this too and chanter and necro and a DNC on it.
Ice of V + rune + dehidral = DNC
Ice of V + rune + dehidral +mana = DNC

tried adding quil and parchement as it says " as learned in spell research" and DNC

Spend 2-3 hrs combining the various items in various quantities and DNC

Found the book, I'll post full text later. I tried that researching combine myself and did not have any luck. I tried all sorts of subcombines in all sorts of various quantities and did not get a thing. Each of those combines were tried in both enchanter tomes AND in the ice cream churn (just on an offchance).

However, the text sounds pretty straightforward. It sounds like 1 straight up combine of 1 of each (ice of v + dihedral burin + rune of frost + vial of viscous mana). So why isn't this working?

Supposedly this should yield something like an "enhanced ice of velious" or "improved ice of velious", which you then need to make the tinkered contraption for permanent ice.

It will definitely be a spell research kit, not a tome BTW.

List specific combinations you tried and I *may* give some hints Or something like that game with the white and black pegs... "how many are correct"
