  • A BAKER'S JOB

Something silly a buddy sent me.

    A BAKER'S JOB

A baker's job is a piece of cake. Of course if it's a special job he will rise to the occasion. It's the yeast he can do. Bakers trade bread recipes on a knead to know basis. But they stop making donuts when they get tired of the hole thing. In a bakery, buns usually play a small roll. But tell a baker his dough has fallen, and you'll get a rise out of him. To find out how the business is doing, look at the pie chart. Old bakers never die. They just keep on making more dough.

/em beats Cigarskunk with a burnt loaf of bread

Puns are the lowest form humor. But the Breadth of the humor did not escape me.

          /em politely applauds Cigarskunk's tale.

/em shoves Lilosh into the dough bin and soundly slams the lid shut!

In RL I went to a Vo-Tech High School for Culinary Arts. I did good there and after I left went on to a university for Baking and Pastry Arts, my real love. Got my Associates Degree in that and am almost done with my Bachelors in Food Marketing. My whole life is surrounded by food and even in EQ I'm working on being a GM Baker. So Cigarskunk, you just hit me right at home with that and have to say it's one of the funnest things I've heard since I was e-mailed the funeral ceremony for the Pillsbury Doughboy. I love your posts, keep them coming!

Correction, Lilosh. To quote Piers Anthony, a bun is the lowest form of humor.

Why? Oh, WHY did someone have to go and quote Piers Anthony?!?

                      /em is taken slightly aback.

                      Because it seemed appropriate?

Heck, I didn't even mention Xanth. That's from his Adept (? - been a while since I read them) series -- Juxtaposition, near the end.
