  • No stat food/drink in Magelo Beta??

So as not to derail a previous thread....

Didn't EQPlayers do the same thing? I have to agree that, atm, I am far from likely to be carrying around a BC for daily wear. I must say, however, that I think it's wrong for either to exclude stat food or drink from a character's statistics.

I DO carry around Juice of Quellious and Bristlebane's Party Platter on both my bard and my druid. That's 100 extra hp and mana, not to mention the other stats both add. It makes zero sense to exclude this from on-line stat displays.

The only thing that I can clever out is that there are whiners out there who do not do TS's that are complaining about other people being "ahead" of them in rankings due to stat food/drink. But I'll bet you 10 plat that these same people make SURE they switch their best stat weapons/shields in before they hit that on-line stat update button.

You can add stat food to your Magelo. Just add 1 of each food and drink to your inventory then change it on the lower left under equipment.

I have to agree, I also use BPP's and Juice of Quellious, and think that the food and drink slot have "counted" as inventory for years, it seems like something a profile should show. Especially with platters (or possibly challenges) that are kind of prizes for high baking skill and the ability to collect difficult components.

If you can't get into that forum, then it's probably still limited to Magelo Premium users. If you have magelo premium, you can log into the site via www.testmagelo.com

On the current front page, they've posted this (down towards the bottom):
Stats food is not taken into account anymore. Don't forget to take this into account when comparing a new and an old profile.
