    Yes.

Force feeding a particular piece of food makes it last half as long as it would if eaten naturally. So if you're going to do it, just keep that in mind.

More accurately, yes to the first.

Here's a way to think of force feeding (and EQ food in general). I'm using made up numbers, BTW, not actual values, but they illustrate the point. Let's pretend 100 means you're "normal" -- you're not hungry, but you're not full either. As time passes, the number goes down, meaning you get hungry. When you reach, say, 50, the game checks if you have any food in your bags. If you do, you eat one. If you don't, the game starts reporting you're hungry.

Each food has its own value. So something like batwing crunchies may be 10, while something like a misty thicket picnic may be 100. When you eat that food naturally, you get the full value of the food. When you force-feed, you get half that value.

So, you start out at 100. Over time, that value drops until it hits 50. The game searches in your bags and finds a batwing crunchies. You eat it, and your food value goes up to 60. Over time it drops down to 50, when you eat again.

So let's say you're at 50 and the game finds a misty picnic. You eat it and your food value goes up to 150.

When you forcefeed, you only get half the benefit of the food. So if you were at, say, 75, and you force-fed a misty picnic, you'd only get 50 benefit instead of 100, so your food value goes up to 125.

A final thing to note is that your food value is capped. If you try to forcefeed and your food value would go over the cap, the game says that you can't eat any more or you'll explode.

Hope this makes it a bit clearer. =)

i think what mister/miss drunken rebel is trying to find out is if he/she has bristlebanes challenege for the stats if he/she makes sure to force feed himself/herself something else he/she wont consume his/her challenge. Which is a yes

/dreams of the day when we can buy EC and no more worries over forgetting to force feed food.

EC = Endless Cornucopia, kind of like Endless Quiver for food/drink.

Keep dreaming Gorse Ngreth said EQ was a mistake since it allowed rangers to get the best bow and use it unlimited. As a result, no new recipies with even stronger arrow have been created until a way to make arrows non EQ-able a possibility

Any such feature for food would defiantly not be allowed. Hack some coding to bypass eating and drinking without going hungry, and then hack some more to add flag to food and drink so the game could tell if it's allowed or not allowed to be endless.

I forcefed myself ages ago to the point that it became a reflex. After time though, with improvement to my finances, I decided to be done with forcefeeding . Today I happily eat my Party Platters whenever I am hungry.

While the BC are a magnitude better than the Party Platters, I did not even consider using them as stat food because I know I would forget to forcefeed and it would be lost.

I am in a similar situation to Baldary.

Even when I was still working on BPPs had roughly 10, I would not use them unless I really needed the stat boost.

I still have 3000+ MTPs to eat that I used to from skilling my baking trophy to level 7. Plus whatever was left over from skilling to 300.
