Inedible chunk of meat

Has anyone found a use for this stuff? My guildmates (bless them) keep handing me these tidbits and search though I may I have not found a recipe that uses it,

any suggestions?

I think I saw another post where a high level mob once agroed spawned other mobs... these mobs dropped a good meat for something, and also dropped the inedible meat....

Unfortunately in that post it seemed the inedible stuff was exactly that.

May be mistaken, you can tell from my post I don't remember the other one well.... it could also have been about something completely different.
