Taelosian Mountain Wheat

Where seems the best place to farm these ? Past few nights I have been hunting in KT, Qvic, Riwwi etc yet to find one of these drop from the mobs there. I might be extremely unlucky, or maybe looking in the wrong areas/mobs. Also can't seem to find any of these for sale in the bazaar, which adds to my frustration. These wheat are the only things Im missing atm from a couple of BC combines.

Appreciate any help or hints

Rare drop in Qvic+ zones so good luck finding one. Mountain wheat are hitting close to 10k on Maelin bazaar and will probably be this way for a while. Or try vendor diving and get really lucky.

I have had good luck at the KT zone in. Its rare no matter where you go, seems like you will get 1 of each raw material before you start getting duplicates.

Try Tipt and Vexd they seem to drop there ok.

Kodtaz, Tipt, and Vexd for the Taelosian Mountain Wheat, right? Not the plain old Tealosian Wheat?

It doesn't drop in Tipt or Vxed, mountain wheat only drops in KodTaz and above (KodTaz, Yxtta, Qvic, Txevu, Tacvi, etc.)

A bit off the subject on this issue. I found two Telosian Mountain Wheat on a vendor (woohoo) and considered myself lucky. I took it promptly to the spit and hit combine and it said you can not combine this in this container. Hmm, I thought it was strange since I have done the Abysmal Sea quest until my fingers bled. I summon up spit and tried and got the same message.

So, I took these to the person in Abysmal Sea and turn it in to him and I got two flours back for each. Do you think this is a bug or did something change? I would like some feedback before I submit a /bug on this. Thanks.

Did you try them in an oven? It's possible there's some sort of bug that doesn't allow the spits to process the wheat.

Also, what was the exact name of the containers you tried, and exactly what did you put in the containers?

Two containers I have tried are the oven in PoK and Collapsed Spit. Neither worked. I put one Taelosian Mountain Wheat by itself in both containers and it gave can not combine msg.

yes that link is wrong, they are combinable in the colapsiable mixing boal, summoned mixing boal, and normal mixing boal.

which if you stand back and look at how wheat is processed into flour makes sence, since is is ground on a stone or in a boal with smaller stone or pedastil to make the flour, not baked, burnt, or likewise sauted . its only baked burnt or sauted once you use the wheat in stuff, sayyy bread.

OK, so to confirm, the wheat CANNOT be procceed in an oven or spit, but it CAN be processed in a mixing bowl or collapsible mixing bowl?

Has anyone actually refined it themselves recently? I did the abysmal sea quests a LONG time ago, but even though the recipe is listed in the collapsible mixing bowl, it wouldn't let me combine it to refine. I had to go turn them in to the npc to get the flour.

The error for wrong recipe/container (cannot combine these items in this container type) is different from the error if you haven't done the quest (You do not meet the requirements for this combine(IIRC)).
