Now I'm only a bunch of livers away from making a stack of these things (assuming no failures).

You've managed to get TWO stacks of horse meat? I have only seen one in the entire time I have been working this recipe. Sadly, I have 5.5 stacks of Sea Dragon Steaks and have yet to make a single BC.

I was fortunate enough to find 2.5 stacks of intestines on a trader for 2pp each so I was quite happy.

Which treants were you killing? Only time I have ever seen the hearts drop were off the named in Eldarr and one off a low level one in Takish. Bought all my others

All the trash treants in Elddar can drop the hearts, it's just insanely rare. Chain killing these with two 3-box teams (quick kills), I can get 1 per hour. I've dinged about 30 aa killing there now. It's sad when you are getting only 1 heart / aa.

This is also rare, but not quite as bad as the treant hearts, in my experience. I two or three-box the unicorns around that pond in Elddar for the meat. Somedays I have gotten up to 3 meats in one clear, other times it takes 10 clears to get 1. Either way, it's **** nice exp. You just have to watch out for those &*%#@ silencing sylph mobs. It's no fun healing yourself on a unicorn when your boxed shammy and druid get silenced.

Livers are easily found off spiked turtles that ropam in natimbi.

Ok, what am I missing? I've had about 8-9 clearances of the turtles without a single liver so far :-( Feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall... or is it normally this bad?

It's pretty random I would say, it did take me a while to finally see one drop from the turtles in natimbi, so just need to keep at it.

Yes it can take a while. I got lucky only because someone didn't anticipate the value of truepta liver over a month before BC was solved, when it was suspected to be one of the challenge meat ingredient. A vendor had a few in natimbi.

When I did actually farm for the liver, I went quite a while before getting one so I would say the liver is uncommon or rare drop, which would keep in line with the requirement of making BC stuff mostly rare.
