  • racial receipe's

I was wondering if there is any plan to add more racial receipe's for the future?

I'm sure the troll would be very happy with a bigger choice of foods then they have now?

And maybe the Ogres would like some frog dishes?

Could be quite easy (maybe?) using established foods but make a variant with gnome meat?

edit: and maybe gnomes would quite enjoy some culinary revenge on trolls too

edit 2; I have some ideas which I will pen down

I relly want barbequed iksar. My guild's main puller is iksar monk and he's often the only one who survives a wipe. As a result there's a running joke about bbq'ing the monk. (heck we get extra DKP if the monk actually dies )

After coming here and suggesting it might be nice to add more racial receipes I nudged my gnome half sister to ask her if she had some suggestions for me

This is what she came up with:

          Spicy troll hotpot
          ingredients:
troll parts, habanero pepper, potatoes, turnip, cream, vegetables, clump of dough.
Cooking: throw all ingredients (except dough) into a mixing bow to create hotpot filling, then add dough and a pot, stick in the oven and voila

Smoked Troll Jerky on a string
Ingredients: 5 troll parts, grilling sauce, linen string.
Cooking: put troll parts in a bowl with grilling sauce, put the grilled parts(5), with linen string, and a smoker in the oven and ta da' Smoked troll jerky on string very handy for travelling gnomes

          Bonsay's flaming troll toasties
Ingredients: Bongo's Hot Chili Spice, troll parts, cheese, garlic, onion, loaf of bread, butter.
Cooking: Marinate the troll parts with Bongo's Hot Chili Spiceand garlic. Slice the onion in to rings, put the marinated troll on a slice of bread, add a layer of cheese and a layer of onion rings, smack another slice of bread onto this and bake with some butter in a frying pan

Naturally these could be made for other races too, in that case we might want to call Bonsay's flaming toasties after a welknown racial representative of another race.

Ogres and trolls are not reknown for their cleanliness, its bad enough just when they decide to sit next to you on a raid-night, do we really want to eat them too? And can you imagine how tough their meat would be, will be hammering away for a week to get it anything even slighty tender, or even worse will have to spend 200kpp to buy an Ambleshift's Amazing Automated Troll/Ogre Tenderiser.
No no. When talking cultural baking, as a halfing, we want to see a greater selection of cakes and pastries, also more ice cream flavours and sweeties.

Ahh yes pastries be nice too like fruity candied troll.

Cleanliness and so is not a problem, Bonsay tells me that in Ak'Anon the waterwheel has dual purpose, one to create electrickery and secondly to wash the *coughs* troll game thoroughly. Gnomes will tie them, well stretched out and undone from their mucky clothing, to the wheel and let them spin around for a couple of days :-D
