Hidden Baking Recipie in PoR

Is anyone else getting the challenge meats as DNC, I made all the parts per the recipe but the final combine for the challenge meats wont work, anyone have any insights into this?

I would suggest you double check your recipe. With this many similar items, it could easily just be an error in what you put in the oven.

This will be changed to No Drop. (The Itemization people say something with that many HP/Mana has to be No Drop) The Meats will also be changing, though that was on the line of not needing to be No Drop needing to be No Drop.

Now that it is going to be No Drop I may consider the stats a bit more.

As for the fairness of the Coldain Pickle reference....

It is a riddle. Riddles are rarely fair, often misleading, and since someone solved it without further prompting on that particular line of the riddle... obviously solvable.

I ***may*** look at putting the pickles in other places but I have not decided on this yet. For one I do not mind there being a small market in the bazaar for these for people that can get it, and secondly it is not impossible to get them.

The low trivial was partially... it is not that difficult to make a sandwich. The rest of the reason is that I figured getting all the parts and all of the sub combines was the challenge for this, and it is definitely NOT a skillup recipe.

Any plans to reward Lazorus for the awesome achievement in working this out. I know from this thread this was a team achievement, nevertheless, I think the final achievement of being the first to hit combine is worthy of some acknowledgement.

The first person to complete the cabbage earing recipie was rewarded by the earing being named in her honour, and Xanthe's earing is still worn by many a happy druid. Perhaps a title for Lazorus 'Lazorus the Grandmaster Baker', or 'Lazorus the Sandwich Maker', or even 'Lazoras Sandwich Maker of the Gods'.

Or failing a title, how bout calling it the 'Lazerous Sandwich' (item lore .... 'brings you back from the dead'). Or if you can't do that, becuase you already named the sandwich, make the item lore 'Lazerus Made This'

A good reward for Lazorus might be to put his name in the Identify description. Something like "xxx calorie sandwich, Lazorus made the first one!"

It is under the Foraged Section.

Taelosian Wheat - it can also be a drop, but I am a druid so the first thing I think is to check for forages.

I'm not that surprised to see it going No Drop, BPP is and imo, "easier" to make.

Saves would be divine on it ;-)

But I can still see a high price tag on sea dragon meat, was thinking about it and if the average spawn is 3 days per dragon and the 3 it drops from are perma farmed... that is 1 sandwhich a day per server max.

Lore: "A tasty and filly sandwhich with 45,640 calories, first created by Lazorus" imo :-)

Sea dragon meat makes 5 sea dragon steaks, the steaks are used in the combine.. so it'd be 5 sandwiches per day. More if it does infact drop off the spawned faydedar (someone somewhere said it did)

It used to drop off the spawned version but it's also needed for an epic hit and someone was camping the spawns, forcing those doing the epic to wait. I believe it should be nerfed now. It *is* against the rule to hog certain mob and disrupting other peeps doing legimate quests.

I am glad I found a sea dragon meat from bazaar cheap a month ago and with 5 per combine, I'd be set if only I could find horse meat and some more treant hearts.

Someone mentioned on one server (Antonius specifically) had one for 600k. I didn't see any bristlebane challenge up on marlin but it does show up on the buy line so someone probably made one.

However someone on Maelinwas /auc 50k for sea dragon meat, 20k for treant heart, and 10k for horse meat and I am almost willing to bet all of my plats that person intended to make and then sell for big money. Sea dragon meat will be the hardest one for sure since it only drops off 3 different mobs, all with pop timer taking a few days.

neither taelosian mountain wheat or regular taelosian wheat are foraged, both are drops off mobs.

If you are on Bertox, and just needing the sea dragon steaks to finish the combine give me a tell. I have 14 at the moment (well, 4 + 2 meats), ideally I'd like to trade them for horse meat/mountain wheats, but if you're trying to finish it to give to someone before the nodrop goes into effect, I'd be happy to help (just remember me when I'm looking for help to finish my warrior's epic ).

I might ask you to show me some of the other stuff in trade.. I'd just rather not give something away and see it in the bazaar later.... I know 99% of the people here would never do that, but I'd bet there are a few trolls who might take advantage.

It needs a full patch for the No Drop flag, and I have not heard a date for the next full patch.

As for board titles for Laz, that is up to Verdandi

And I did alter the lore text (which will also only show up at the patch)
