Beer-Battered Cragbeast Meat

I've tried just about everything to combine the Beer-based Batter and the cragbeast meat to make this but I keep getting the message cannot combine in this container. It calls for a mixing bowl. Can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong? Thank you in advance

have you broken the crag meat down to the point where it can be combined?
15 lb to 15 -1lb pieces down to cragbeast meat? etc?

You're combining it in your mixing bowl, not in an oven/spit, correct? Mixing bowl is a four slot container. Put one Cragbeast Meat and one Beer-based Batter in the mixing bowl (make sure nothing else is in there) and hit combine.

When I first started baking, I thought the mixing bowl was bugged because you couldn't put it in the oven to combine...

I've also been fooled by things that are difficult to spot (like rat whiskers or something) in the mixing bowl from auto-inventory that I didn't spot.

Also, after you have succeeded once, you can ctrl-click to open the mixing bowl and put beer-battered cragbeast meat in your favorites. Then you use the new UI to do it without having to click and drag constantly.
