  • what to make??

OK I'm sick of halas meat pies, nobody wants the beer battered tuna pies, and I can't figure out what to make. Mistys sound good but my trivial is only at 214 atm. Any suggestions on what to make that isn't real expensive, not too high for a decent success rate, will give me some decent skill up, and can be sold on auction in PoK(I don't do bazaar... gotta let the pc rest sometimes)?? Foraging isn't a problem by the way lol. Any suggestions will be given serious consideration. Thanks!

Easiest way to find what you want is this list.

Overall.. MTPs will probably be your cheapest route, but like halas pies have a bazookaload of subcombines.

OR albino crawfish pie. triv is 255. means ya need to go fishing in DOD, but you can do that pretty easily and safely in corathus creep.

Breaded Storm salmon and/or Planar fruit pies. U can do both since bread crumbs and planar fruits both are foraged in PoJ:-)

Misty thicket picnics are really your best bet. for 500pp you can do 100 combines, each successful combine yeilding 4 picnics that last 4 hours each. auction off the extra ones you don't need for yourself for 3pp each and you'll make like 500% profit.

It really is the best stat food out there...see my thread

Yeah I'd go for the Mistys. I'm finnaly gonna make the push. Kinda have to since I just Baught 220 Picnick baskets off the smith in PoK. Save alot of play this way.

various stir fry's, melts and casseroles (veggie, griffon and anaconda) from jaggedpine if the zone is friendly to you. forage plant shoots, kill griffons and anaconda for meat.

But if the key criteria is resale, have to go with mtpb or possibly holy cakes even

I wouldn't personally recommend this...the fishing table in DoD is rather large, and Albino Crawfish isn't particularly common.

But, saying that, most of the fished things from DoD can be used in 200+ trivial recipes, but takes a lot of mossmatt spice.

I did Karana's Heartfruit Salads from 270-300 but then I have access to the PoP zones needed to forage in so I foraged and fished everything myself. Well, I got the moonstone crystals and rain water from vendors because people love to sell them to the vendors in PoTranq.

I disagree about DoD baking- I LOVED fishing there! Yes it has a big table, but a lot of the stuff you can still use! The only thing I never used was gravestone loach. Those tiny blind fish you can use for brewing too (yay no mushroom farming)

These days I can't seem to find near enough mossmatt for my baking though

Do patty melts to 191... its too easy really.

After that I'd honestly jump straight into MTP's... they look daunting... but once you actually try it out and see how the high yields on subcombines work, you will quickly find that you are wasting time doing anything else.

In the time it would take to forage/fish up the stuff for other recipes, you can make 10x as many MTP combines. Even with a lot of fails for a high trivial recipe, you will still come out ahead.
