  • Baker about to return to eq..

well from the sites ive looked at bakeing recipies still could use a lot of improvement whats the harm in makeing recipies that have stats just as good as a regular item cmon it does wear out eventually. High end foods from high end dungeuns(like big time raid needed) is there any ?

Ive been offline for quite a while and itching to get back...)Oh but thank god for the Bakeing recipies menu.. no more reams of paper cluttering my house up. some of dod recipies are quite nice if they would have been implemented with velios, compared to items of today they only add a small bit of power. Now i enjoy mucnhing on odd foods as much as anyone but there should be a bigger reward for time spent hunting down exotic meats and ingredients. hmm some "epic "recipies would be nice. something that takes as long as epic to do at first but , not to time intesnive once quest is comepleted. if there is already something like that nvr mnd

    Welcome back

I'd say baking is a fairly friendly tradeskill. Raisable to 300 much more easily than, say, tailoring, and it provides useful (though consummable if you're not careful) returns.

If you're looking for a baking recipe that will be on par with high end gear, I think you're going to be disappointed. The closest thing you'll find is probably Bristlebane's Party Platter, which certainly has nice stats for food. But then, even something like Misty Thicket Picnics and Tormentor Stir Fry have better stats than even the best brewed drinks. *shrug* Tradeskills are what they are; take them as you will.
