Anaconda Meat?

Your DB claims the Anaconda Meat drops in Nedaria's Landing, from 'an ancient anaconda', but after killing a few dozen with no meat drops, I checked Allakhazam, and it says they don't drop the meat.

They list ONLY Jaggedpine forest.

Not sure if they're correct, but my anecdotal experience says it's so. No anaconda meat in Nedaria.

I've gotten hundreds of anaconda meats out in Nedaria's.. Sorry, you just had bad luck. I hate hunting in JPF because invariably I take a faction hit when something decides it wants bard butt for lunch.

OK...how strange. I guess I'll try it again, but I do not exaggerate when I say I killed dozens. Probably between two and three dozen, minimum. And Allakhazam agreed.

Could they have changed the drops? How long ago did you get them? I was mostly hunting them right outside the bear cave, could it be that there are two kinds of ancient anaconda in the zone, and you were hunting somewhere else? Sorta like how the Majestic Grizzly (or whatever) which spawns inside the bear cave is completely different than the ones which wander near the JPF zoneline.

I was hunting them near the magus area or up above, near the door to JPF. But I've killed the ones near the bear caves too and gotten them.. and...
allaz' is only as good as the poeple reporting to them.. if no one has told them stuff drops in a certain area, they won't know..

Argh...I've continued hunting them, and continued to get zip.

Tons of griffon meat, bear, cat, and wolf skins...but no anaconda meat.

Hey, I've noticed that basilisks never seem to stun any more, and someone said they nerfed that. Is it true?
