  • RE planar fruit pies

OK I'm sick of Halas Meat Pies now lol. Are people still making/selling the Planar Fruit Pies and, if so, what is the going rate? I'm only at skill of 240 so I'm not quite ready to do MTPs yet, and awhile back I was getting requests for PFPs but not sure about now since I been gone so long

I make the pies for my ranger. It's hard to beat the dex bonus on the pies. I pretty much just bake for myself, so I don't know what kind of market there is for them. An alternative to MTP and pies is to make the casseroles. My ranger was in her 40s when i was at that stage in my baking and quite enjoyed running around Jaggedpine killing griffons, anacondas, and foraging up plant shoots. I had saved a bunch of the extras thinking of leveling up a 2nd toons baking, but then DoN came out raising the caps, so I just used them to continue past 250. The casseroles go to somewhere in the mid 280s.

Planar Pies triv at 282. On Povar I see them for sale in Baz around 50pp each, although I tend to ooc sell them in PoK at 400pp a stack generally all gone 30 minutes after they are out of the oven.

At 240 I was still making Beer-braised souffles (hynid/cragbeast) until 252, meat is foraged in OOW zoned, but pretty common in baz at around 1pp each. Farmed the eggs of my 52 ranger from LS basalisks and JP basalisk genetors. Ooc sold at 5-10pp each depending on how i felt.

Swapped to planar pies at 252, was lucky that some guildies gave me a few stacks for free. Rarely see planar fruit for sale in Baz and if I do tended to be double the price you would get for the pies.

Im at 287 now and making omlette supremes, whenever i can get cheap coarse salt and deep forest mushrooms. I have no plans on switching to MTP, I cant handle all those subcombines and slow brownie part farming (anyone know a good place for brownie parts??)

Also the brownies in Gfay or Lfay, and can kill the spiderlings (2) for silk drops.

I sell the PFP on test for 10-15 pp each on Test, depending on my mood at the time. I only have a couple of people who buy them, though. I usually only need to make a run on them every 4 or 5 months. I'm thinking it might pick up now that people are coming back. We'll see.

              pies

Planar Fruit can sell in the 50pp range in Bert, I've been selling the pies at 75pp each and sell 10 or so a day. Someone is selling 198 planar fruit for 50pp right now but I finished baking and dont want to mess with the CEs needed. I have a buyer offering 20pp each and I get sold some from time to time as well.

              Good luck.
