Potameid parts from Jaggedpine

Any idea what its for? I can't find anything about them...I tried to make melts with them (anaconda, griffon meat from JP, figured it was worth trying) but it didn't work....just wondering if anyone knows of any baking product that can be made with this stuff. Thanks.

You can make Potameid Pate with them, parts + plant shoots + spices I think. It's used for the Qeynos Badge of Nobility quest.

Does anyone have any tips or information on ways to kill these things? Players have told me that they are fairly magic resistant, cast spells, and are not affected by movement-type debuffs (i.e. snare, root, etc.). Do you have to toe-to-toe these things with a tank? I don't know how much is conjecture and fact, so I've stayed away from these things for the time being. Any help would be most appreciated.

My main char is a Mage and I send in the pet to attack then tell the pet to back off till I get the critter on land. Then I can blast it along with my pet tanking. Hope that helps some.

My husband is a bard and he kites the potameids and sings his dots.. with his fast song they never catch him. I join him with my druid once in awhile.. basically charming griffs or anacondas and sending them in the chase.

They drop the parts (used in the Qeynos badge quest) and also pieces for druid armor quest. If you get a named one they can drop so-so weapons.

I dire charm a anaconda and leave him at one end of the beach, buff him and myself. Making sure we both have ds on. I SoE over the river and they come chasing...run them over your pet, they will attack him and not you as long as u hit attack on just one..keep yer pet healed and wahhlaa lotsa meat.
